Accountant – Lafayette Headquarters
Must have accounting degree and solid computer skills, including Word, Excel, & QuickBooks. Three to five years of experience and continuing education in accounting practices are required. Responsibilities include general ledger, AP, AR, payroll entry and assistance with month-end close.

Dispatcher – Lafayette Headquarters
High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of Lafayette. This position is for a dispatcher for an electric utility: applicant will be required to work rotating shifts that will include nights and weekends. Applicant must be able to communicate with Operations personnel, as well as providing necessary and desirable service to our member-owners. Computer and customer service skills required.  

Entry Level Groundman – Crowley & Washington Service Centers
High school diploma or equivalency required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of the service center you are assigned too. Some computer knowledge required. All necessary job training is offered on the job and in the classroom.

Entry Level Meter Readers – Crowley & Washington Service Centers
High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of the service center you are assigned too. Some computer knowledge preferred. All necessary job training is offered on the job and in the classroom. 

Entry Level and/or Experienced Row Treetrimmers – Crowley & Washington Service Centers
High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of the service center you are assigned too. Should hold or be able to acquire a Louisiana State Arborist License, a Louisiana State Commercial Pesticide Applicator License and a Louisiana Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

Experienced Lineman – Crowley & Washington Service Centers
High school diploma and completion of an apprenticeship lineman program is required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of the service center you are assigned too. Three-plus years in electric utility distribution operations preferred. Must have general and specific journeyman knowledge of equipment and be capable of operating equipment in order to construct and maintain electrical systems both cold and energized (hot) lines. All additional training is offered on the job. Computer knowledge is preferred. 

Mechanic – Lafayette Service Center
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some computer knowledge preferred. Specialized training in maintenance and repair of vehicle and equipment, along with hydraulic repair preferred. Previous experience of at least two (2) years in Auto Mechanical work required.

Substation Technician – Lafayette Service Center
High school diploma or equivalent required. Applicant must live within a 30-minute radius of the service center you are assigned too.  Some computer knowledge preferred. Additional formal education in the electric utilities field is required.
